askpolly announces $3m in seed capital led by Differential Ventures
This morning, Fund II Portfolio Company, askpolly, announced that they have raised $3m in seed capital, led by Differential Ventures, with participation from The 98 and Forum Ventures, to expand product development and fuel go-to-market efforts across the US.
askpolly is a Microsoft partner pioneering a faster and more representative approach to market research, using AI to turn organic social media conversations into statistically valid market insights.
“Market research has not kept pace with the way people communicate,” said Erin Kelly, co-founder and CEO of askpolly. “Consumers are already sharing what they think online, but the loudest voices are not always representative. We built askpolly to remove that bias and give companies rigorous answers while those insights can still shape a decision.”
“askpolly’s ability to produce statistically defensible and explainable results in a matter of minutes instead of weeks or months is a substantial leap forward for the market research industry,” said Nick Adams, co-founder and co-managing partner at Differential Ventures.
“LLMs are outstanding tools for large-scale data extraction and summarization but they can’t actually perform research in a way that produces trusted recommendations which creates the usability and liability gap that askpolly fills.”
